3 Tips on Transferring Android Data To Mac OS

September 19, 2017 0

One thing a habit that should be ' please be advised'  when switching from Windows OS to Mac OS is trying to move data from Android smartphones to that platform. Yep because accustomed plug & play in Windows OS by using USB cable, surely a notification appears if the device has been connected to the PC and we can copy , delete, even format as well as the contents of existing data.

Unfortunately on Mac OS when you connect it with a USB cable, the Android smartphone will only charge even if you have changed to MTP mode  . For that, DroidPoin shares 3 tips in order to move files from Android to Mac OS easily.

# 1 Install Android File Transfer on Mac OS

If you are still used to move files using a USB cable, it is better to install the Android File Transfer application that is recommended directly from Google. With you install the application, it will be more free to access the files on Android smartphone just like in Windows OS.

# 2 Use Dual Flash Drive OTG

Believe me, there will be time for your USB cable less able to help move data quickly when it will be used again. So it's good, prepare these accessories for the benefit of moving or storing your data from Android smartphone to computer.

# 3 Install FTP Apps on Android and Mac OS

FTP or File Transfer Protocol is an easier shortcut to do move large files. Actually FTP has embedded pure in every device that can be used if every device is connected in one same network.

But because each device is located different settings, so we recommend using third-party applications such as AirDroid , Shareit , Xender and so forth because the application is part of the FTP feature as well as the availability of its cross platform applications .

Those are some tips that you can apply, if you have other alternatives, do not hesitate to leave it in the comment field.

Is It A Good Time to Try Android 8.0 Oreo?

September 19, 2017 0

As you know, in August Google officially announced the latest Android version of Android Oreo and DroidPoin also has explained that there are some Android devices that can taste Android 8.0 Oreo, although not the official version.

Well, on this occasion, DroidPoin will give a little review about ROM Android version 8.0 Oreo Unofficial and here is the result:

The look is more presentable

The first thing that DroidPoin feel after successfully menginsatall Android 8.0 ROM Oreo, of course there is on the display. Yup, Android 8.0 Oreo look feels neater (become more organized and clean) and also easier to operate because of Notification Dots.

Unfortunately, not all new features are present in the initial version of ROM, it seems that new features on Android Oreo will be present gradually on the next ROM update.

Performance increases

In addition to a much more appealing view, the performance of Android 8.0 Oreo increases significantly, especially for booting problems. Well, it seems Google's words some time ago about the boot process much faster than previous versions of Android is not a mere rumor.

In addition, DroidPoin thinks there is a slight increase in Android Oreo battery life, although there should be more detailed testing on this subject.

Minim bugs though still early versions

Over the past few days trying the Unofficial Android 8.0 version of Oreo, DroidPoin did not experience any bugs that could be considered serious enough. However, sometimes the Google account you register does not want to sync and Google Play Service also sometimes experience not responding, so you can not get into the Play Store and download the apps and games you want.

It is also reported that an unofficial version of the Oreo ROM can make your fingerprint work incorrectly.

You need to know, every Android phone experience different problems. So, DroidPoint can not be sure what kind of problems you will encounter on the device you are using.

The install process is quite difficult

Well, just one problem that DroidPoin taste is quite difficult. Yup, the process of installing Android 8.0 Oreo is quite difficult and may require accuracy and concentration, because mengisntall Android Oreo ROM is not like installing Android ROM in general (stable version of Lineage OS, AOKP and the like).

Sometimes, you will experience errors when you install or packages that you install are corrupt and similar, so you should try alternatively if one way does not work.

Well, that's a little gaes review about Android version 8.0 Oreo Unofficial.

So, is this a good time to try Android 8.0 Oreo?
DroidPoin sense, you better wait a little longer until the problem of the install process becomes easier and also all the supporting elements like GApps and others are really available for Android Oreo.

So, who among you here wants to taste the Android 8.0 Oreo on your Android device right away?

September 18, 2017 0

Social media has recently been overwhelmed with smartphones with powerful displays. Evercoss smartphone demonstration video is also viral direct. It could be a hammer!

In the video uploaded Satria Rama in his Facebook account, seen the Evercoss Winner Y Star U50A + smartphone screen is able to face a hammer blow many times by Evercoss promoter.

Even the Evercoss promoter looks to simply drop the smartphone, and the screen remains undamaged. Different things will certainly happen if the Galaxy S8 or iPhone 7 is dropped.

Not only that, even this Evercoss promoter also makes the rhinoceros screen smartphone like a hammer by nailing the nails repeatedly. To his surprise, the smartphone screen does not have any damage.

In other videos seen a mobile phone shop owner who participate prove this super power screen from Evercoss by nailing the nail into the wood. And again, the smartphone does not have any damage.

Which is the question, how come so?

Evercoss uses the Kingkong Glass screen on the Winner Y Star U50A + which is claimed to have a hardness level of 6.5, making it difficult to break

.Its specifications are also pretty loh, like Quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB memory, front and rear 8MP camera, plus fingerprint sensor.

Interestingly, this resilient smartphone is sold cheap, only Rp 1.3 million. Also note, Winner Y Star is a smartphone native to Indonesia.

Android Nougat Users Finally Outsourced KitKat

September 18, 2017 0

As you know, Android Marshmallow is currently the most widely used Android version, beating Android Lollipop since a few months ago.

Well, in this month, there is something interesting that happened again. Yup, that's right, now Android Nougat users have exceeded the number of Android users KitKat. As you can see in the following table:

Nougat Android Users Finally Over KitKat

As you can see in the table above, Android Marshmallow users are at the top with a total percentage of 32.2%, followed by Android Lollipop of 28.8%, Nougat 15.8%, KitKat of 15.1% and the rest followed by Jelly Bean, ICS and Gingerbread.
In addition to Android Nougat users who have managed to surpass the number of users of Android KitKat, there are other interesting things, namely only Android Nougat users who experienced growth and for the rest experiencing the number of decreases vary. For details, you can check the table below:

Nougat Android Users Finally Over KitKat
This is not a strange thing, especially the distribution of Android Nougat either through the update program or from the new device is quite a lot and evenly distributed, so it is not surprising that in a short time Android Nougat users have managed to surpass the number of users Android KitKat.
Unfortunately, DroidPoin has not gotten any new info on Android Oreo users, probably because the Oreo version was just released a few weeks ago.
So, who among you here who has updated to the latest version of Android?
